Product Details
Your EZGO Piston Pin for the two-cycle, 1979 through 1994 models is a very critical hard part. Your golf cart is not going anywhere without it. The engine will not even turn over. Let us explain. The piston pin is a tiny tube that is located inside of the piston itself. It is connected to your connecting rod via a needle bearing.
The connecting rod is directly bolted to the crankshaft. So if the cylinder fires and there is no piston pin, the crankshaft will not turn over, meaning the golf cart does not run. See what we mean by important part? Arguably this is one of the highest wear items in the whole system. It not only takes a beating from the bearing that constantly rotates around it. Each end that rides in the piston gets ground like a pencil in a sharpener. This is all normal, so just stay on top of your maintenance and call Nivel Parts when you need something.
