Description

This is a genuine Lester Electrical DC output cordset built for the Summit Series II charger family, terminated in ring terminals sized for 5/16" mounting studs and paired with an integrated lockout/interlock wire. Ring terminal connections are the standard choice for on-board charger installations, where the charger is permanently mounted to the vehicle and wired directly to the battery pack rather than connected through a quick-disconnect plug. The lockout wire is what makes this configuration distinct: it lets the charger communicate with the vehicle's control system, opening a signal circuit to disable driving while the batteries are actively charging, which is a standard safety feature for on-board golf cart and utility vehicle charging setups. At 6 feet, this cordset is sized for battery packs mounted relatively close to the charger, which is typical when the charger itself is bolted on-board rather than kept as a separate shelf unit. The cordset uses 12 AWG wire for the two main power leads, meeting Lester's minimum gauge requirement for safe heat dissipation at the charger's rated output, along with a lighter 16 AWG wire for the lockout signal.

Most products are organized by cart brand and model, including Club Car, EZGO, and Yamaha. Always verify your cart's year and model before purchasing to ensure proper fitment.

Lithium batteries offer longer runtime, faster charging, reduced weight, and virtually no maintenance compared to traditional lead-acid batteries. They're one of the most popular upgrades for improving golf cart performance.

The correct voltage depends on your cart's electrical system. Common options include 24V, 36V, 48V, and 72V. Always replace your battery system with the voltage recommended for your specific cart model.

In many cases, yes. Most stock golf carts can accommodate certain 18"–20" tire sizes without a lift kit, but larger tires often require additional clearance. Fitment depends on your cart model and wheel setup.

Not always. Smaller wheel and tire upgrades may fit stock carts, but larger tire sizes generally require a lift kit to prevent rubbing and improve clearance.

Popular lift kit styles include A-Arm, Spindle, Drop Axle, and Block Lift Kits. Each offers different ride characteristics, tire clearance, and installation requirements.
