Description

This Curtis battery gauge delivers a clear, real-time read on your 48-volt battery pack's remaining charge using solid-state technology with no moving parts to wear out. It's built specifically for the demands of golf cars and similar electric vehicles, giving drivers an at-a-glance fuel-gauge-style display instead of guessing how much run time is left.

The gauge automatically tracks depth of discharge and provides two-stage LED warnings: a flashing alert at 70% discharge to signal your battery is entering reserve capacity, and a more urgent alternating flash at 80% discharge to warn you're nearing empty. This staged warning system helps protect battery life by encouraging recharging before damaging deep-discharge conditions occur. An optional output signal can also be used to automatically disable a vehicle function or trigger a relay at the 80% discharge point for added protection.

Designed for rugged outdoor use, it operates reliably across a wide temperature range and meets SAE J1378 shock and vibration standards. Its compact panel-mount housing is sized to fit standard gauge cutouts, making it a practical drop-in replacement for a failed or aging factory battery indicator on 48-volt systems.

Most products are organized by cart brand and model, including Club Car, EZGO, and Yamaha. Always verify your cart's year and model before purchasing to ensure proper fitment.

Lithium batteries offer longer runtime, faster charging, reduced weight, and virtually no maintenance compared to traditional lead-acid batteries. They're one of the most popular upgrades for improving golf cart performance.

The correct voltage depends on your cart's electrical system. Common options include 24V, 36V, 48V, and 72V. Always replace your battery system with the voltage recommended for your specific cart model.

In many cases, yes. Most stock golf carts can accommodate certain 18"–20" tire sizes without a lift kit, but larger tires often require additional clearance. Fitment depends on your cart model and wheel setup.

Not always. Smaller wheel and tire upgrades may fit stock carts, but larger tire sizes generally require a lift kit to prevent rubbing and improve clearance.

Popular lift kit styles include A-Arm, Spindle, Drop Axle, and Block Lift Kits. Each offers different ride characteristics, tire clearance, and installation requirements.
