Description

This black SB50 connector plug is fitted with 10-12 AWG contacts and used on the charger side of the wiring on E-Z-GO electric golf carts built between 1983 and 1995, where the cable running to the onboard charger is a lighter gauge than the main battery cable. It's built on Anderson Power Products' SB50 housing — the same two-pole, one-piece connector used across the cart's charging circuit, here sized for lighter charger wiring.

Anderson's SB50 housings hold their contacts under constant spring pressure via an internal stainless-steel spring, keeping the connection's electrical resistance low and stable through repeated plugging and unplugging. The housing carries Anderson's standard SB50 rating of up to 120 amps continuous and 600 volts AC/DC, with a 50-amp UL hot-plug rating, and the SB50 family accepts contacts anywhere from 16 AWG up to 6 AWG — the 10-12 AWG contacts fitted here sit within that range and match the lighter current draw of a charger circuit versus the main battery cable.

Like other black SB50 housings, this plug is genderless and keyless, so it mates with any other SB50 housing of the same color.

This listing is for the plug and contacts only; wire and the mating connector are not included.

Most products are organized by cart brand and model, including Club Car, EZGO, and Yamaha. Always verify your cart's year and model before purchasing to ensure proper fitment.

Lithium batteries offer longer runtime, faster charging, reduced weight, and virtually no maintenance compared to traditional lead-acid batteries. They're one of the most popular upgrades for improving golf cart performance.

The correct voltage depends on your cart's electrical system. Common options include 24V, 36V, 48V, and 72V. Always replace your battery system with the voltage recommended for your specific cart model.

In many cases, yes. Most stock golf carts can accommodate certain 18"–20" tire sizes without a lift kit, but larger tires often require additional clearance. Fitment depends on your cart model and wheel setup.

Not always. Smaller wheel and tire upgrades may fit stock carts, but larger tire sizes generally require a lift kit to prevent rubbing and improve clearance.

Popular lift kit styles include A-Arm, Spindle, Drop Axle, and Block Lift Kits. Each offers different ride characteristics, tire clearance, and installation requirements.

Street Tires– Best for paved roads and neighborhoods.
Turf Tires– Ideal for golf courses and grass surfaces.
All-Terrain Tires– Designed for trails, gravel, and off-road use.
