Description

This is a genuine Anderson Power Products SB50 connector kit, manufacturer part number 6331G3: a black, one-piece SB50 housing pre-fitted with two 6 AWG contacts, ready to crimp onto 6-gauge battery cable. Anderson pioneered the two-pole SB-series design in 1953, and the SB50 remains an industry standard for golf cart, EV, and battery-power quick-disconnect applications.

The 6331G3 kit carries Anderson's standard SB50 ratings: up to 120 amps continuous current and a 600-volt AC/DC rating, with a 50-amp UL-recognized hot-plug rating for connecting or disconnecting safely under load. The housing uses internal stainless-steel springs to hold the silver- or tin-plated copper contacts under constant pressure, keeping contact resistance low and preventing the connection from loosening over time or under vibration.

SB50 housings are genderless — any SB50 connector mates with another SB50 of the same housing color by flipping one 180 degrees — and black is one of several color options Anderson offers to help keep different circuits or voltage systems visually distinct on a cart's wiring.

This kit is intended for building or repairing an SB50 cable end using 6 AWG wire; it includes the black housing and two matching 6 AWG contacts, but not the mating connector, wire, or crimping tool.

Lithium batteries offer longer runtime, faster charging, reduced weight, and virtually no maintenance compared to traditional lead-acid batteries. They're one of the most popular upgrades for improving golf cart performance.

The correct voltage depends on your cart's electrical system. Common options include 24V, 36V, 48V, and 72V. Always replace your battery system with the voltage recommended for your specific cart model.

In many cases, yes. Most stock golf carts can accommodate certain 18"–20" tire sizes without a lift kit, but larger tires often require additional clearance. Fitment depends on your cart model and wheel setup.

Not always. Smaller wheel and tire upgrades may fit stock carts, but larger tire sizes generally require a lift kit to prevent rubbing and improve clearance.

Popular lift kit styles include A-Arm, Spindle, Drop Axle, and Block Lift Kits. Each offers different ride characteristics, tire clearance, and installation requirements.
