Description

This is Epoch's 48V 30Ah GC2-format lithium battery, engineered as a direct drop-in replacement for the Trojan T-105 lead-acid battery commonly found in 48V golf carts. Built in the U.S., it uses a 16S cell configuration and includes CAN Bus communication alongside its built-in BMS, letting multiple units on a cart report status through a shared communication link rather than each battery working in isolation.

The battery is rated for 60A of continuous discharge, with short-duration pulses up to 100A for 10 seconds and 200A for 3 seconds to handle acceleration demands. Because it's modular by design, up to 10 of these batteries can be wired in parallel to reach 300Ah of total capacity — a scalable way to build up a golf cart or fleet-vehicle battery bank size to match specific range needs, using two COM ports per battery to link the parallel string (positive to positive, negative to negative).

The sealed IP67 case protects against dust and water, and internal heating isn't mentioned for this model — its charge and discharge temperature ranges are narrower than Epoch's heated batteries, so it's worth checking those limits if the cart operates somewhere with cold winters. It's backed by a 4,000+ cycle life rating and an 11-year manufacturer warranty.

Most products are organized by cart brand and model, including Club Car, EZGO, and Yamaha. Always verify your cart's year and model before purchasing to ensure proper fitment.

Lithium batteries offer longer runtime, faster charging, reduced weight, and virtually no maintenance compared to traditional lead-acid batteries. They're one of the most popular upgrades for improving golf cart performance.

The correct voltage depends on your cart's electrical system. Common options include 24V, 36V, 48V, and 72V. Always replace your battery system with the voltage recommended for your specific cart model.

In many cases, yes. Most stock golf carts can accommodate certain 18"–20" tire sizes without a lift kit, but larger tires often require additional clearance. Fitment depends on your cart model and wheel setup.

Not always. Smaller wheel and tire upgrades may fit stock carts, but larger tire sizes generally require a lift kit to prevent rubbing and improve clearance.

Popular lift kit styles include A-Arm, Spindle, Drop Axle, and Block Lift Kits. Each offers different ride characteristics, tire clearance, and installation requirements.

Street Tires– Best for paved roads and neighborhoods.
Turf Tires– Ideal for golf courses and grass surfaces.
All-Terrain Tires– Designed for trails, gravel, and off-road use.
